Nuria developed her professional career at multi-practice law firms, where she specialised in civil procedural law and commercial and civil law. She began her professional career as an outside counsel of the entity Caja de Ahorros y Monte de Piedad de Madrid (currently Bankia) with which she collaborated for ten years, acquiring a wide experience in the banking sector and in procedural law, as well as the understanding of the financial instruments and bank transactions.
Subsequently, she has collaborated with different law firms, always focused on civil and procedural practice, and providing advice to companies and individual customers.
Nuria holds a law degree from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). She earned a MBA from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija.
She obtained a Master of Advanced Studies (DEA) after having carried out the PhD courses in the Department of Company Law at the Spanish National University of Distance Education (UNED), for her research on “The procedure of granting trademarks” and “The active legal capacity for the exercise of unfair competition actions”. She is currently working on her thesis at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM).
For more than ten years, Nuria has been an associated professor in the Department of Private Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), where she teaches in the Dual Bachelors in Law and Economics and International Relations, being specialised in Stock Market and Company Law, as well as Commercial Contracting. Likewise, she participates as a member of the tribunal in the Bachelor Theses.
Nuria speaks and writes Spanish, English and Italian.
