Nuria Carmena

Nuria's career combines the expertise acquired as an external part of Bankia's legal team and her practice in several multidisciplinary law firms.

She specialises in procedural, commercial and civil law.

She has worked with both private and corporate clients and has accumulated extensive experience in the corporate and finance fields.

Nuria holds a Degree in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM). She completed her Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Antonio de Nebrija University. She also holds a Certificate of Research Proficiency (DEA) for her research on “The procedure for the granting trademarks” and “Legal standing to file unfair competition claims”, having completed her doctorate courses at the Department of Business Law of the Universidad de Educación a Distancia (UNED). She is currently working on her thesis at the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM).

Her passion for education also manifests itself through teaching: she has been an associate lecturer in the Private Law Department at Carlos III University of Madrid for over ten years, where she teaches on double Degree in Law-Economics and International Relations, specialising in Company Law and the Securities Market, as well as Commercial Contracts.
